International Initiatives for Business

Ashland Economic Development has partnered with Ashland University, Ohio State University-Mansfield’s Center for Corporate & Community Education and The Institute for Human Investment and Economic Growth to develop plans to assist local business with export opportunities.  This partnership has also explored the programs available from First Energy, Ohio Department of Development International Trade Division and the United States Commerce Department’s Export Assistance Center. 

There are many programs available to local companies to help facilitate the expansion of their sales by tapping into foreign markets.  Ashland Economic Development will assist local companies by directing them to the appropriate programs and by hosting seminars through the Ashland International Business Initiative.
