Ashland International Business Initiative (AIBI)

The Ashland International Business Initiative (AIBI) is a partnership formed between Ashland University and Ashland Economic Development. The AIBI is designed to create a program in the Ashland area to give local companies the necessary support to develop and/or enhance their export sales initiatives. Increased sales for local companies will lead to an increase in local jobs.

AIBI will hold a series of quarterly seminars designed to present additional export opportunities to local business. The seminar series is just one component of the overall Regional International Export Program. For the next two years, seminars will be presented on a quarterly basis and will tentatively cover the following countries/topics:

January 20, 2004 - Sri Lanka
April, 2004 - International Business Resources Forum 
November 18th, 2004 - Canada
